INGREDIENTS
- ¾ teaspoon of saffron
- 1 tablespoon of warm water
- 1 cup of plain yogurt
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- ¼ cup of lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon of pepper
- 800g of chicken (a mix of thighs, drumsticks, and legs)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine ½ teaspoon of saffron with warm water in a bowl and blend using Beko Starlight Hand Mixer. Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes.
- Add yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Add the chicken and mix thoroughly until the chicken is well coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or preferably overnight.
- Preheat a hot grill to medium heat and generously grease it.
- Remove excess marinade from the chicken. Place the chicken in the Beko Air Fryer and cook for 15 minutes at 185°C, turning once or twice, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
- Once the chicken is grilled, heat up the olive oil to 80°C. Add the remaining saffron to infuse it with flavor. Brush the infused oil over the grilled chicken pieces and serve.
