INGREDIENTS
- 100g of pistachios
- 300g of Medjool dates
- 2 tablespoons of tahini
- 1 teaspoon of cardamom
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- ½ tablespoon of cocoa powder
- pinch of salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- Airfry the pistachios for 5 minutes to lightly toast them at 160°C.
- Roughly chop 50g of the pistachios using the Beko Starlight Chopper for the filling. Finely chop the remaining 50g of pistachios with the Beko Starlight Chopper to create a crumb for coating.
- Chop the dates using the Beko Starlight Chopper. Add the chopped dates and tahini to a pan. On low heat, mash with the back of a wooden spoon until you have a smooth paste.
- Take off the heat and fold in the spices, cocoa, salt, and pistachios.
- Roll out the mixture into a long log over a piece of baking paper. Sprinkle the ground-up pistachios onto the baking paper and roll to coat.
- Freeze for 30-60 minutes to make it easier to slice.
