How to Clean the Evaporator of Your Beko Heat Pump Tumble Dryer

Regular cleaning of the evaporator is essential for maintaining the dryer's performance and

energy efficiency. Here's a step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Monitor the Cleaning Reminder

If the evaporator cleaning warning symbol lights up on the display, it's time to clean the

evaporator. It's recommended to clean the evaporator every 6 months, depending on

usage frequency.

Step 2: Open the Kick Plate

Press the kick plate button to open the kick plate, which is located at the bottom front of

the dryer.

Step 3: Unlock and Remove the Evaporator Cover

Turn the 3 latches to unlock the cover and then carefully remove the cover to access the

evaporator fins.

Step 4: Clean the Evaporator Fins

Using a brush, gently clean the evaporator fins by brushing upwards and downwards. Be

careful not to damage the delicate fins. You can also use a vacuum cleaner to remove any

dust or debris.

Step 5: Replace the Cover and Lock the Latches

Once the evaporator fins are clean, place the cover back and turn the 3 latches to

securely lock it in place.

Step 6: Close the Kick Plate

After everything is reassembled, close the kick plate cover.

By cleaning the evaporator regularly, you’ll maintain the dryer's efficiency, reducing drying

time and energy consumption.
