Tikka Masala will add the spice of the world to your table.
It is one of the best examples of Indian cuisine. This dish, which takes its name from the spice garam masala, is indispensable for crowded tables. As soon as it starts to cook, delicious smells fill the house. The one who eats this dish, in which you will taste every spice in it, will want another plate. Although it is usually made with chicken but we have prepared a recipe with tofu for vegans.

Ingredients:
- For the Tofu:
- 200 g extra firm tofu
- 1 lemon juice
- 125 g coconut yoghurt
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon paprika
For the Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 400 g tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
- 150 ml water
- 125 ml coconut yoghurt
Step by Step:
1. Take tofu between couple of paper towel and put heavy object on top, leave it 10
minutes.
2. In a bowl mix tofu ingredient except tofu and set aside.
3. Preheat oven 180°C on grill option.
4. Slice the tofu bite size and mix with the sauce in the bowl. Take tofu bites on baking
tray with sheet. Grill in the oven 15 minutes the upside down the tofu bites and grill
10 more minutes.
5. Heat the oil in a large pot sauté onion, garlic and ginger until they get tender, about
5 minutes. Add sauce spices and sauté for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add tomato
sauce and water and bring it to a boil, cook for 5 minutes. If you want to become an

6. Pour coconut yoghurt and tofu bites and mix well, cook 2 minutes and turn off the
heat.
7. Serve with rice and chopped scallions. Enjoy!
