How to Solve Beko Washing Machine Not Spinning Issues

If your Beko washing machine isn’t spinning, it could be due to a number of reasons.

Follow these troubleshooting steps to identify and solve the issue:

Step 1: Balance the Load

Avoid washing a single heavy item like a bathrobe or large towel, as it can absorb

too much water and cause the drum to become unbalanced.

Add smaller laundry items to help balance the load. This will distribute the weight

evenly and allow the machine to spin properly.

Step 2: Check for Objects in Pockets

Check all pockets before washing to ensure there are no small objects (e.g., coins,

hairpins) that could block the drainage system or cause the machine to stop mid-

cycle.

Remove any items that may be causing noise, blockages, or draining problems.

Step 3: Remove Excess Laundry

● If the washing machine is overloaded, it might not spin properly. Remove some

items to reduce the load
, ensuring that the machine isn’t overfilled, which will

allow it to spin more effectively.

Step 4: Use the Correct Amount of Detergent

● Make sure you’re using the right amount of detergent for your load size. Using too

much detergent can create excessive suds, leading to an imbalance in the drum.

Excessive bubbling can prevent the machine from reaching the spin cycle properly.

Step 5: Check the Pump & Filter

Inspect the pump filter at least every three months to make sure it isn’t blocked or

stuck. If the filter is clogged with debris like lint, coins, or small objects, it can

prevent the machine from draining properly, which may stop it from moving to the

spin cycle.

● To check the filter, turn it counterclockwise and remove it. Clean out any

blockages
and reinstall it.

Step 6: Ensure Proper Drainage

● If the pump or filter is blocked, or if there is an issue with the water not draining, the

machine will not proceed to the spin step. Ensure proper drainage by checking

that the drain hose is not clogged or kinked.

By following these steps, you can troubleshoot and potentially fix the issue of your Beko

washing machine not spinning, ensuring it works efficiently and your clothes come out

properly washed and spun.
