It’s important that your refrigerator’s doors are shut tightly because the cold air inside your appliance needs to be properly isolated from outside temperatures. see if one of the following will solve the problem.

See if items are blocking the door

Items that are too big or that have been improperly placed may be preventing the door from closing. Try relocating them.

Check the appliance’s balance

The doors may not close properly if your appliance is not balanced. Try rocking it very slowly to see if it is unbalanced. If you can easily push it from side to side, then it’s not properly balanced. You can level it by screwing the feet up or down until it is balanced. Keep in mind that the ground should also be level. Relocate the appliance if necessary.

Check the door seals for gaps, cracks, or tears

The cold air inside your appliance needs to be properly isolated from outside temperatures. See if there are gaps between the door seal and the cabinet. If you find any, adjust the door seal by gently pulling away from the door using your fingers. For any openings that persist, you may need to replace the seal.

Check for frost build-up

Check your freezer for frost build-up. The ice in the freezer compartment may be preventing its door from closing. If this is the case, you’ll have to manually defrost the freezer compartment.

For more information regarding defrosting your freezer, consult your user manual. If you're having trouble finding your manual, download it here using your product's model number.

Beko fridge freezers with no frost functions such as 3 Zone No Frost and NeoFrost™ Dual Cooling Technology prevent ice build-up so that you won’t have to defrost manually.
