There are several reasons for your cooker hood's light not to work. Please see if one of the following will solve the problem.
Check for power failure
Check lights and other electrical appliances in your home and see whether the power is out or not. If they’re in working order, the fuse your oven is connected to may be faulty. In this case, seek the help of a qualified electrician for repairs.
See if the bulb is defective or blown
The hood light bulb may be defective or may have blown. If the bulb’s glass is dark, it has probably blown and needs to be replaced.
Unplug your appliance before replacing the light bulb. If the bulb is hot, wait for it to cool down. To remove the bulb, press own or twist its housing clockwise, then remove it by turning it anti-clockwise. Install the new bulb by turning it clockwise. Replace the old light bulb with the same type specified in the appliance’s user manual or near the light bulb on the hood.
The position of the light bulb will vary according to your hood’s model. For more information on locating and replacing your hood’s light bulb, please consult your manual. If you’re having trouble finding your manual, download it here using your product’s model number.
