How to Clean the Evaporator Filter of Your Heat Pump Tumble Dryer

Regular cleaning of the evaporator filter helps maintain your dryer's efficiency. Follow

these steps to clean the evaporator filter:

Step 1: Check the Warning Symbol

The filter cleaning warning symbol on your dryer's display will automatically light up

every 3 cycles. When you see this symbol, it's time to clean the evaporator filter.

Step 2: Open the Kick Plate

Press the kick plate button located at the bottom front of the dryer to open the kick plate

and access the filter.

Step 3: Remove the Filter Drawer

Take out the filter drawer carefully from the kick plate compartment.

Step 4: Open the Filter Drawer

Press the red button on the filter drawer to open it. Then, remove the sponge evaporator

filter from inside the drawer.

Step 5: Clean the Drawer and Filter

● Use a vacuum cleaner to clean inside the filter drawer.

● Wash the sponge evaporator filter under the tap to remove any lint or debris.

Ensure it is thoroughly cleaned.

Step 6: Reassemble the Filter

Once clean, place the sponge filter back into the filter drawer and close it securely.

Step 7: Replace the Filter Drawer

Insert the filter drawer back into its housing, ensuring it fits properly, and close the kick

plate.

By cleaning the evaporator filter every 3 cycles, you maintain optimal drying performance

and ensure energy efficiency in your heat pump tumble dryer.
