Ingredients

 

  • 200 g ground chicken

  • 50 g cabbage, finely chopped 

  • 30 g green onions, finely chopped

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 5 g grated ginger

  • 10 g soy sauce 

  • 10 g sesame oil

  • 3 g salt

  • 3 g black pepper

     

For the Dumpling Wrappers: 

 

  • 150 g all-purpose flour

  • 75 ml water

     

Preparation

 

  1. Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped cabbage, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine. 

     

  2. Make the Dough: In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and water to form a smooth dough. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes elastic. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water. If it's too sticky, add a little more flour. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a thin sheet, about 1-2 mm thick. Use a round rim of a glass to cut out circles from the dough.

     

  3. Assemble the Dumplings: Place a small spoonful of the chicken filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape, then pinch the edges together to seal tightly. You can also use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch.

     

  4. Preheat  Beko ExpertFry: Set it to 180°C.

     

  5. Cook the Dumplings: Arrange the chicken dumplings in the  basket. Cook the dumplings at 180°C for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. 

     

  6. Serve: Once cooked, remove the chicken dumplings from it and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve the dumplings hot, with your favorite dipping sauce like soy sauce or sweet chili sauce.
