Tonight is vegetarian night...

A very special recipe prepared for the dinner table of vegetarians.

Who said the main course had to include meat? There are excellent meatlesss main dishes in many cuisines around the world. Moreover, the taste of those dishes is above the standards. Only with the right ingredients can you create the vegetarian star of your dinner table.

Ingredients:

  • 250 g cabbage leaves
  • 3 L water
  • ½ lemon juice
  • Sumac seeds
  • Salt

 

For the Filling:

  • 100 g jasmine rice
  • 150 ml water
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 cup purple cabbage, sliced

 

For the Sauce:

  • ½ cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 inch ginger piece
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 chili pepper
  • ½ cup water
  • Sesame seeds

Step by Step:

1. Rinse jasmine rice and pour in a pot, add 150 ml water and bring it to a boil. Cover

with a lid, cook for 12 minutes then rest for 10 minutes.

2. Slice carrot, cucumber, yellow and red bell pepper the same size. Take a side.

3. Take out chili pepper seeds then blend everything except sesame seeds until smooth

in a blender. Then add sesame seeds. Take a side.

4. Boil 3 L water in a large pot then low the heat and simmer. Add sumac seeds, lemon

juice and salt in water.

5. Rince cabbage leaves and put them in hot water for 7 minutes. Take cabbage leaves

in ice water then strain and let them dry.

6. Take all preparations on the counter. Take one leave cabbage and steamed rice, put

1 piece or more of every vegetable drizzle sauce on top, close the edges and roll.

7. Make the same progress for all cabbage leaves and serve more sauce on the side.
